Skeg breeds 
Skeg (silvanis duabus manibus) 

Common short arm. Characteristics: short arms, brown or green skin, and a friendly and gentle demeanor. common short arms are often used in nurseries and as e.s.s.

Gray short arm. (lapis arma)
Characteristics: With short muscular arms and gray skin, this variety is quite imposing. They are used as guards and in skeg fighting arenas. This breed has a bad reputation that often leads to neglect and abuse. 

Gray long arm. (regiis duabus manibus)
 Characteristics: The long arms of these skegs give them a regal bearing and they are common among the elite. Gray long arms are very intelligent. 

Greater short arm. (perampla duabus manibus)
 Characteristics: The largest skeg breed is the Greater short arm, with each arm being 6 feet long and the main body being 4 feet tall!!! This breed can be brown, gray or green.

Brown skeg.  Characteristics: It's a brown skeg, that's it.

Night skeg. (nox venator)
Characteristics: The rare night skeg is a much maligned breed with completely black skin. Many superstitions exist about this breed and it has only recently become popular.   

Pit skeg. (laterm pellis)
Characteristics: The strongest skegs besides greater short arms, the pit skegs reddish brown color and thick skin gives them the nickname ‘brick skegs’
 
Formici long arm.  Characteristics: The formici long arm is a subtype of the gray long arm with enlarged eyes and a more friendly personality. This breed has largely supplanted the gray long arm on silvanis. Fillbi, queen pendals skeg is a formici long arm. 

Big eye skeg. Characteristics: Their large round eyes give this skeg its name.

Dappled skeg. Characteristics: The dappled skeg’s skin is multicolored. resembling purple, green and brown camo print. This unique pattern is indeed camouflage. making this skeg quite elusive.     

Snow skeg. (nix venator)
Characteristics: The snow skeg is descended from a subspecies of skeg found on the poles of Silvanus. with their thick fat layer and their white skin they make a striking image. Snow skegs have been imported to ymir. Snow skegs are more animalistic than other breeds. 

Leach skeg.(extensum stomachum)
Characteristics. The leach skeg had the unique ability to invert its esophagus effectively giving the creature a prehensile mouth. Unfortunately it went extinct 40 million years ago.
